Vickie Bows and Thanks...

I created all my pages using HTML Assistant Pro.

All the backgrounds were created by me, in Paint Shop Pro, except for
"bdove3.gif"- drawing by Happy Rhodes, manipulated by me in
Fractal Design Painter.

("bdove3.gif" used at http://web.wwa.com/~vickie/happy/concerts/philly/philly.html)

I stole the "thumb-on-nose" and the "Mr. Yuk" icons from the net,
but I forgot where they came from. Thanks to whoever made them!
I'll give proper credit as soon as I remember where I got them. I also
stole the icon of the musical note, and manipulated it in Paint Shop Pro.

("thumb-on-nose" and "The musical note" are at http://web.wwa.com/~vickie/
"Mr Yuk" gif is at http://web.wwa.com/~vickie/cos/cos.html)

Update: I found out where I found the "thumb-on-nose" gif. It's at:
http://www.cli.di.unipi.it/iconbrowser/icons/icons52.html Thanks for the gif, but those pages take freaking *FOREVER* to load up!! Now I remember why I never went back there.

All other icons were created by me, in Paint Shop Pro.

Ooops! Except, of course, for the Blue Ribbons and "24 Hours of Democracy" icons. I did manipulate the blue ribbons a bit, but got the original from the EFF Alerts site at:

http://www.eff.org/pub/Alerts/

All the photos were either scanned in or made using Snappy!

Thanks to Chris for setting me up with a PC and encouraging me to learn HTML! It's so funny that he's a free-lance web developer for major companies who is too darn busy to make his own web site! One of these days....

Thanks to World Wide Access (wwa) in Chicago for providing web space to users.

Thanks to the Internet for keeping me connected and sane.

Thanks to Jon Ort for Paint Shop Pro!

Thanks to the nice fella at SSnet, a Kansas City Internet Service Provider who I ran into on the irc channel #Kansas_City. I don't know his name, but he gave me some great tips on how to do Frames, which I greatly appreciated.

As long as I'm on the subject, I'm ticked off that all the current Frames tutorials are not written for the average person. Is it a consirpacy, or what? They seem to assume that a) you have an IQ over 200 b) anything they say can and will be understood completely and c) if you, god forbid, need *specific examples* then you're a wimp who probably shouldn't even own a computer, let alone be on the net, *LET ALONE* want to, god forbid, use Frames! ARGH!

Yeah, yeah, I've been thinking about writing a Frames tutorial for real people. As soon as I get it all down myself, I probably will.

Special thanks to Kate Bush and Happy Rhodes for their music.

More credits as I get around to typing them in.
