Best Times To Listen: Practically anytime
Station Format: Their slogan is "Saving Detroit's Airwaves". They play a wide variety of specialty music programming, and have very good announcers for a station of this type. At onlt 270 watts, you need a good radio to get them, but Dearborn is a fairly central area of the Detroit metro, and the station is worth seeking out.

Station Format: Commercial AAA format, it has recently moved towards more mainstream sound with more roots-rock in the mix. Still, it is one of the first stations to have played the likes of Jewel, Tara MacLean, Leah Andreaone and Patty Griffin. Music Director Ann Delisi is a fan of Happy Rhodes and female singer-songwriters in general, and she brings some interesting choices to an essentially mainstream format.

Station Format: Funded by the Government, this station aims to provide a mixture of all "alternative" music and showcasing new/undiscovered artists and music. Aimed at 18-24 market. Plays a lot of alternative rock and dance music, with also bits of jazz, world music etc. Depending on presenter, can be very ectophilic (usually more powerful stuff like Tori Amos etc.)
