OCH004 THE MINDWINDER "Bang The Fucking Box" 12"

The third vinyl outting from Liverpool's THE MINDWINDER is a tough techno affair. Written for the club night "Bang the Box", the track was released as this underrated night calls it a day. Pumped up analog bass and distorto drums mesh with hard stabs and not much else to produce a track that's "Just How You Like It".

The track "Mindwinder" was originally released in '94 on Buffalo Recordings. This remix by (and featuring) Will Sergeant (GLIDE/Electrafixion) is best served chilled. "The Joe Man (Memory Mix) is a melancholic epic written in memory of THE MINDWINDER'S (Joe McKechnie) friend and DJ'ing partner Mark Johnson who died at the start of '95. "The Joe Man Remix" is by Liverpool's DUBWISER, who turn it into a spaced out, squelching dub stomp.
