I mention the dates because Tori Amos isn't mentioned in either of > these books =( Two similar and excellent books that I recommend are: 1) Women, Sex & Rock 'N' Roll : In Their Own Words by Liz Evans 2) She Bop : The Definitive History of Women in Rock, Pop and Soul by Lucy O'Brien The Evans book includes an interview with Tori Amos who also gets a slight mention in O'Brien's book. The Evans book is a collection of articles and interviews which I like because it enables one to trace the history and find connections and common ground between artists. Alas, neither book mentions Imogen (this is the Wireless mailing-list, after all) but I hope to see her included in future music history books. -Greg ("he writes letters...") ------------------------------ End of wireless-digest V2 #149 ******************************
