Let's see if I can explain this & see if I can help some of you out. It is next to impossible to offer Imogen's singles through the website. Why? Well, the singles are on Almo Records, UK. Almo in the UK is still an independent record company - unlike the US divison of Almo which is distrubuted through Universal. This explains why it is next to impossible for US fans to find her singles in US shops - the singles are just not available for import. (And why these were never released in the US). And since Dustin works with Almo in the UK and the website is based in the US, this creates yet another barrier for getting the singles in your hands. So, being the nice guy that I am (and the fact that this list is still rather small), I am prepaired to offer the singles to you all. How am I going to do this? Well, I have a friend in England who has agreed to help us all out. I will tell him a quantity, he will send this to me & then I will send them out to the individuals. And being that I am Dustin's brother, I am hoping you all have some sort of trust in me. What I wantt do to first is take a survey of sorts... just to find out how many people are interested in which singles. So, below is a list of the singles, write ME back, not the list, and tell me what you're interested in purchasing. I will post - say in a week or so - the totals, and I will go from there. I am guessing the total price for each single would not be more than $10 or $12 (probably less), but I will work all of the money out later. I just want to know WHO is INTERESTED in WHAT. - - Getting Scared - - Shine - - Come Here Boy - - URBAN SPECIES, Blanket (part 1) - - URBAN SPECIES, Blanket (part 2) For exact track listings and cover art work, see http://www.imogenheap.com, under discography. Now remember..... the singles I am offering are just the regular UK issues, not promos, not Austrailian 1 track promos, not Japan issues with bonus tracks..... just the UK cd singles. - -rusty agentorange2@juno.com ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. I hate to be a nay sayer, but I have serious doubts that this order will ever be fullfilled. It you find yourself with an opportinuty to purchase a copy (user record shop, ebay, whatever) don't pass it by thinking that your tower order will come thought - it probably won't. It is very common for online catalogs to be inaccurate by continuing to show deleted items. Sorry... For your sake, I hope I'm wrong, but don't miss any chances.... ;-) Drew ------------------------------ End of wireless-digest V2 #121 ******************************
