Subject: [Imogen] best concert

The best concert I've been to would have to be Tori during the Sneak
Preview Tour because she played with a band at such close proximity. The
intensity and intimacy was incredible.  Plus the set list was awesome
(Fillmore 5 May).
A close second would be either of the two Sleater-Kinney concerts I've been
to. That band is just so awesome. I am in love with Carrie Brownstein.
They're going to take over the world one day.
Oh, and when Immi asked me to get up on the stage and model her T-shirt...
that was a pretty heady experience =)

Hey guys!  I'm new to the list...here's a little about meeeeeee:
I'm 17.  I live in New York City...I've never seen iMOGEN or meet anyone 
who's heard of her- needless to say...I LOVE HER MUSIC!!  I go to a 
Performing Arts High School, where I am a Musical Theatre major.  I love 
ACTING!! It's my passion!  Other musical artists i loveeee are...Tori Amos, 
Sarah McLaughlan, Idina Menzel, Jane's Addiction, the RENT soundtrack!!!!  
I'm applying as an early-entrant to Eugene Lang College next year!!<fingers 
crossed>  and i guess that's enough for now- I just wanna know how u guys all 
heard of Immy and what u love about her.  How are her concerts etc..... TTYL

See, Shannon, Matt and I were in the 2nd row, just right of center.  We were 
*thrilled* to have gotten such excellent seats, considering how much we love 
BNL, and this small group of girls was in front of us, in the front row - 
like 3 of them or so.  They were constantly waving to their friends who 
must've been in, what, like southeast asia in the theatre, and would *not* 
stop for anything to pay attention to the incredible magic directly in front 
of them.

So I had no choice but to ask them *ever* so politely to wave to the guys in 
the guys in the band rather than to their friends, who I might add, were 
3,426,837.83569999999999 rows back way up in the 85th level of the theatre.  
I mean, for CRISSAKES!  HERE!  HAVE A FRUIT ROLLUP!!!!!

shows, so I'm really looking forward to that.

yeah sometimes you gotta watch it with certain mailing lists.
moderators can be a little trigger happy. i've seen it a lot on
music-lists.  it's overly frustrating and annoying.

in imogen news,
