["Hunter Blue" Subject: [Imogen] Come Here Boy CD single available Hi all, I have an extra copy of the "Come Here Boy" CD single. It's catalog number CD1ALM52, and also has the singles "Feeling Strange" and "Mutual". (editorial note: If you've never heard "Feeling Strange", you REALLY need to. Great, great song.) I paid $7.39 for the CD, so that's all I'm asking. I'll cover postage. If you want it, write me at: mihaljevic@city-net.com Thanks, John http://www.city-net.com/~born2run <- new and improved ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 24 Feb 1999 10:37:34 -0500 From: "John J. I've read that she sometimes tours with a full band, and sometimes tours solo. Does anyone know how this tour will be? 2. Does she usually hang out with the crowd before or after her shows? I'd love to get her to sign my "I Megaphone" CD booklet, and wanted to know if that was a possibility. 3. Doe she sell anything at her shows (shirts, CDs, etc.)? If so, what? Any other info that anyone could offer to prepare me for my first IH show would be greatly appreciated. Hmm. Can't think of anything. There are so many other people on this list who have actually _been_ to her concerts and I am sure they can tell you lots more. Hey, I think it would be cool if everyone on the list tried to keep a tab on whether or not Immie will be doing radio appearances in their area. I know she was at our campus radio station Cal-X or Cal EX but I heard that second hand, I didnt actually hear her on the radio But, maybe we can all bug our radio stations to have Immie stop by :) :) :) And someone could record those interviews.... There they have live shots of the stage!!! No sound, though, but you can at least see her play that night. Maybe even grab some pix ;) I will be somewhere near the front... :) The bad thing about this place is that (as you will see) the bar is so fucking close to the stage! I don't know how distracting that will be for the performance - Rufus fans getting drinks while she is playing!@!!&*$!! toodles! I've read that she sometimes tours with a full band, and sometimes tours >solo. Does anyone know how this tour will be? The 3 times I've seen her she was solo. The last time when I asked her (Dec '98) about touring with the band, she said that she was trying to build support to tour with the whole band. 2. Does she usually hang out with the crowd before or after her shows? I'd love to get her to sign my "I Megaphone" CD booklet, and wanted to know if that was a possibility. I've talked to her before and after her shows. She's so incredibly sweet and down to earth! The first time I saw her during the break, she knelt on the edge of the stage (about 2 ft high) and people didn't know whether to approach her or not, but she called people and signaled with her hands to come over. You could talk to her, take her picture, and at the end she signed everyone's cd's. She's done that each time! The second time, I even handed her letters from some of you on this list. I cannot stress more how wonderful she is and appreciative of her fans. 3. Doe she sell anything at her shows (shirts, CDs, etc.)? If so, what? Each time, they've sold her album for $10. at the end of her performance. They also handed out some few posters (the one she's looking down on the cobblestone street) and some small stickers. I never saw any t-shirts being sold. Kev, which ones did you see? Well, that's about it. I'm really hoping to speak with her Wednesday at the Supper Club. We'll see. That's a bigger venue than the tiny, so intimate, ones I saw her in. Nanikita ------------------------------ End of wireless-digest V2 #34 *****************************
