My brother's friend came to visit him from the UK, and go the CD for me in the Amsterdam airport. As soon as I got it, I popped in my CD player, and then went to go sit down. And on my way I stubbed my pinkie, the now half of the nail is gone. Well, anyway, back to Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie. It is a really good album. It is a lot different from Jagged Little Pill, the anger (reaction) is almost all gone except in 3 of the 17 tracks. Are You Still Mad asks if someone if they are still mad about things she done to them, then answers herself "of coarse you are." Sympathetic Character talks about being her everything, but "therein lay the problem." That I Would Be Good tell us that Alanis feels that she would be good no matter what she did, not in a conceded way but in an ironic way. In Can't Not Alanis tells us all the things she can't not do, and ask "why do you affect me? / why to hinder me? / why do you unnerve me? / why do you trigger me?" UR seems to state everything that Alanis is. I Was Hoping sates what it's about in the title. One says everything Alanis has been. Heart of the House also is self explanatory. Although the CD shows no signs of Jagged Little Pill, it will still keep Alanis on the charts and popular for years to come. To order the album go to http://www.musicfanclubs.org/alanis/sfij.html Just thought I would let everyone know. - - Dustin http://www.musicfanclubs.org/alanis/ ------------------------------ End of wireless-digest V1 #35 *****************************
