I recently acquired an ipod, which realizes my life long dream to always walk around the world with my own soundtrack playing! (like in the movies, dahling). Anyway, then I thought, if I can walk around with Joni's entire catalog in my pocket, can I conceivably download all the tunings (in a sortable construction) onto some kind of PDA device so whatever song hits me I can look up it's tuning and/or family of tunings in an instant? Does such a thing exist? and can I buy it on Ebay? Joni geekoids, please help!! :-) take care, Sue tuned to "TALK TO ME" today... Yes, I realize now that what I can do is put the tuning into the GENRE field for each Joni song (or Led Zep or Bruck Cockburn song for that matter) and then I can sort songs by tuning/genre. I have to see if that works and I'll let you know. Ipods are amazing. Right now I have 1054 songs on mine (with space for about 500 more), including all of Joni's albums and a mean progressive rock collection (ELP, Tull, Yes, Pink Floyd, Who, Focus, Genesis/Gabriel) oh it's heaven!! :-) take care, sue >Hi Sue. >First I know absoluttly nothing about Ipod. >So I looked it up and there are 2 componants on >an ipod.
