If so, as a fellow fan and as a musician trying to use the VG8, I have a question: Has anyone had trouble with dissonance or "bleed-through"? If so, how did you solve it? (For example, I programmed a patch with the tuning DADF#AD. The F# sounds off, like a bit of the original note is coming through--like an out-of-tune piano.) If anyone has run into this kind of problem when playing Joni tunings on the VG8, please let me know! First of all, make sure that your electric guitar volume controls are set at zero. The only volume control turned to more than zero on the guitar should be the one on the GK-2A pickup. Then make sure that you have enough volume from the amplified sound to the speakers or to the headphones that you don't hear the original string tones that are always there. Maybe there are other things that could cause a problem, but these are the only things I know about. Maybe Michael Paz would have something to add to this, as he has a whole lot more experience than I do.
