I recently watched a Moody Blues DVD (the one at Albert Hall), and noticed 
that on at least a couple of the songs, Justin Hayward is playing in open G. I 
will look again to see if he plays mostly in open G (or other alts).

Some of the chords seem to be "not quite straight on" - like Joni's on Marcie 
:-)

I wonder if there is any connection between them and Joni. It would not shock 
me (Justin is more like Joni than to Keith Richards - another who played in 
open G -  it seems to me). Anyone know if their paths ever crossed ?
