FLA review from http://www.chartattack.com/DAMN/2004/02/0301.cfm : FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY Civilization (Metropolis) After the successful reunion of Rhys Fulber and Bill Leeb for last year's Delerium album and tour, fans hopes for something new from the pair under the Front Line Assembly umbrella have finally been realized. I have to admit, I did partially want this to be another Tactical Neural Implant or even to continue where Millennium and FLA last left off. Instead, we get an album that starts off with a nod or two to fan expectations with "Psychosomatic" and "Maniacal" (the first single), but then starts to experiment with incorporating some of the ethereal nature from the Delerium side of things. This leads to tracks like "Fragmented," with its positive message and industrial-meets-world beat sound. Hardcore fans will probably be annoyed with the duos inability to keep the two projects separate, but probably no less than they were with some of the bands other recent releases.
