I was assuming they meant 'Chimera Earth Loop' who I remember from 1991 or 1992? I think I still have their cd. I didn't realize they were still around, if so. Kristy Nilaihah Records www.nilaihah.com you guys must not be talking about the same chimera that i know. Chimera "the band", not the delerium cd, as far as i knew was a metal band. i own chimera's new CD (the metal band) where do i find this other chimera stuff that _you guys_ are talking about? i LOVED RC and would like to hear if "chimera" is any good. It actually seems really weird calling it chimera because i have known that name to be the property of a metal band.... maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Who really knows who came out with the name first. anyway, i would like to hear what they have to offer. any links? ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Jun 2003 10:34:29 EDT From: LidiaEliz@aol.com Subject: Re: chimera?? Yeah, there are definitely at least two bands called Chimera. If it helps, the one we're talking about is actually pronounced "shimmera" or something to that effect.. so their names sound different, at least. You can listen to a few clips at amazon.com from their Earth Loop album. Don't expect them to sound like Rose Chronicles or you'll be disappointed.. but I would say that their album has a similar sort of sound to RC's Shiver, but with more of a Liz Fraser-like vocalist and cheerier lyrics overall, and more traditional song structure. It's not a *great* album but it's some good pop music. Sorry if this is a little off the subject matter (well sorta) but I can't for the life of me get Karma to play - just as a CD, thru winamp. All of my other CD's work fine, just this one. Anybody else have this problem?
