Wow - thank you so much for the song, Mindy! Quite something to share with the less fortunate ones. What do you think of it, since you've had longer to listen to it? My first impression is of a more traditional rock sound... a lot like Wild Strawberries, if you get me. On a similar note related to music addiction... Has anyone even heard the cover of 'Heart of Glass' she sang with Mystery Machine? I'd read that it was on their album "10 Speed", but wasn't on most of the copies and was substituted with a multimedia track. There's only scant information about the song in the first place... but everyone who mentioned it seemed to think pretty highly of it :) I'm just burning with curiosity. Met him once at Kristy's performance back in '99 in L.A. Great guy, lots of talent. Hope all works out for him. Thanks for the info. Take care all. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 26 Mar 2002 14:55:54 EST From: LidiaEliz@aol.com Subject: Re: "over it" ?? Mindy, you are awesome. I'm so excited to finally hear a new Kristy song. I'm not sure what I think of it compared to her other solo work, but Kristy could sing about poop and I'd probably still find it incredible. :D << On a similar note related to music addiction... I saw the album with that up on eBay once last year, but I didn't get it. Now the multimedia version of that album is up for auction, and that doesn't have the song, as you said. I'm surprised no one's put it up on audiogalaxy yet, because it's been out for a while. I want it! I wasn't sure what I thought when I first heard it too, I was a little disappointed, it seemed like standard pop radio fare, or something. But the more I listen, the more I love it. It really really grew on me. So give it some more time. :) Re: Heart of Glass on Ten Speed, I spent a great portion of last year in pursuit of it. I looked at record stores, online, at ebay, etc. I actually bought one from ebay because the guy couldn't tell me if it was the old or newer version. Not the right one, of course. I really wonder how many copies of the cd they made before they switched to the multi-media track, because it just doesn't seem to be out there anywhere... might be time to start searching again tho....
