What do you think about this? Do you wish that she was more well-known? (If I recall correctly, Rose Chronicles was relatively well-known -- this is just off the top of my head, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Delerium had quite a bit of success with the two albums that Kristy sang on as well.) ~Emily _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 2 Aug 2001 08:24:22 -0600 From: "Lawrence J Kim" Subject: Re: Kristy and mainstream success If she was more well-known, then she'd tour to more cities--including Denver if I had any say in it. =) Cheers, Lawrence - ----- Original Message ----- From: "feral morphia" To: Sent: Thursday, August 02, 2001 6:51 AM Subject: Kristy and mainstream success > I've been thinking about this -- I like that her music is "my little > secret", but sometimes I wish that she was more well-known; it would be nice > to read some more recent stuff about her and her various musical projects. > ;) And hell -- more people might know about her than I think. I love that she's my secret obsession, and that I can see her in little teeny shows that feel like she;s singing just for me and that she'll sit at my table afterwards to sign CDs. But of course, more success would mean that we would get more music and more shows, and that would be wonderful. Damn catch-22s... It's a bit darker than what tends to make it big. I wish she would tour out east. I'm in CT and I would love to see her if she came out here. I like going around and promoting her to everyone I talk to because no one I talk to has ever heard of her so my obsessing over her stuff is kind of funny, but I would like more people to know of her.
