Hello, everyone. I have been subscribed to this list for about two weeks -- I found out about Kristy Thirsk through her work with Delerium. Soon after, I downloaded some Rose Chronicles songs (and loved them, of course ;)). Yesterday, I bought Happily Ever After, and I am now becoming -- I chuckle and roll my eyes at myself to think this -- obsessed with finding every release that features her voice. I'm from British Columbia (Langley, to be exact), and it makes me proud to think that someone with such an incredible talent lives here. (And I wish that I could have found out about RC sooner, so that I could've seen some shows before the band broke up ... Ah, well.) As of this moment, I am in love with Voice In Jail and Blood Red -- the former parallels easily with Tori Amos' Silent All These Years. To me, Kristy's voice is less ethereal ( ;)) and more ... delicious. It has such an -aura-; I can't articulate it well -- it just feels as though her soul is pouring out through her voice. Mmmm. I love to ramble on; I'm sorry if I've bored you all. A few questions before I go: 1. Is kristythirsk.org ever going to be back up? 2. Could someone kindly e-mail me a complete KT discography? Thanks (and I hope this generates some conversation on the list, although I don't expect it to.), ~Emily _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 1 Aug 2001 21:57:36 -0700 From: "omicron" Subject: Re: I'm delurking (is that even a word?)... > 1.
