So before I spend 40 minutes trying to download it before it gets a transfer error and doesn't download anyway, I thought I'd ask see if one of you guys knows if it really is Kristy? However, it's actually a pretty cool song, and probably worth the download anyway. - --Craig At 1:40 PM +0000 2/20/01, Kung Fu Girl wrote: >Hi, >I was just taking a look on Napster, and saw a file by front line assembly, >song New Years Day and it says featuring Kristy Thirsk. Man, I hate mislabeled files. I've spent some time IMing people on Napster just to tell them that "Flowers Become Screens" is sung by Kristy Thirsk and not Sarah McLachlan. Same with "Fade Into You" being by Mazzy Star and not Jewel. One of the funniest things I've come across, though, is Mariah Carey's "Have Yourself a Merry Christmas". Not because Mariah sings it funnily, but because it's actually Tori Amos. And I imagine the over two hundred people on Audiogalaxy (which I use while at college) who have that file, listening to that and wondering what happened to Mariah when she recorded that one. haha But.. weird thing is, I've come across a few people who have Kristy's "Bounds of Love" on Napster, and then I download it, and it's just blank. Nothing. for around 4:32. Does anyone actually have it? Lauren >>I was just taking a look on Napster, and saw a file by front line assembly, >song New Years Day and it says featuring Kristy Thirsk. But it sounds like it isn't that bad anyway from what you've been saying, though the Tiffany thing does put me off to be honest. :) I might check it out one day, but certainly not worth a peak time phone call. :):):) See, being a pessimist pays off sometimes, you don't get too excited just incase it isn't what you think it is, so when it isn't it's not as disappointing. :) Ah, who am I kidding? It's always disappointing when you think there's something by Kristy out there that you haven't heard and it turns out to be false. :( Thanks again, Justine 'I was a statue in velvet skin you stole' - Rose Chronicles ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Feb 2001 19:45:02 -0500 (EST) From: Adam Subject: Thanks :) btw, thanks to those for helping me acquire mp3s of Kristy.
