The new album is okay... except for the fact that Kristy is not on it!!! Well, she makes an appearance on the bonus disc of the limited edition. It is the Deepsky remix of "Flowers Become Screens". Like you may have heard already, the album is PURE POP. Every track a potential single, they are so catchy. The Matthew Sweet track "Daylight" made me nauseous the first time I heard it... now it is growing on me a bit. If you were expecting the band to "re-invent" themselves on this release, forget it. This is just more of the same, a progression from _Karma_. If you are expecting a total pop album, it is fantastic. I may have come off a bit negative about it, but I really do like the album I just have a feeling that it won't have the lasting rotation in my cd player that the other releases had (Spheres I & II, Karma, Semantic Spaces). My rating: 6/10 (as a Delerium release) 10/10 (as a POP masterpiece) Happy holidays! Sung > > Date: Sun, 3 Dec 2000 17:24:15 -0700 > From: "Lawrence J. A little lighter in mood than "Karma." The only that's missing is Kristy of course! But another favorite singer of mine is on the cd though...Kirsty Hawkshaw! She used to be in this band called "Opus III." She has a very childlike, innocent voice! Some of the songs are more on the danceable side. Especially, "Aria" with the Medieval Babes...
