What about the > rest of the CD, which one do you like overall the best, if anyone has both? I have them both, and Songbird is actually a little bit different on each. On Slowbrew the guitar is electric, and the Lit From Within version is softer. I prefer Slowbrew's Songbird, but Lit From Within has three spoken poems on it, which you might like. All together it's a tough choice between Slowbrew and Lit From Within, but I'd probably go with Lit From Within. I think Tara McLean's Let Her Feel the Rain is much better on Lit From Within than it is on Slowbrew, while there's not a significant difference in quality between the Songbirds. > And speaking of covers, just curious if anyone has any songs that they would > like to see Kristy cover... Imagine what she could do with the part that goes "and fade out again. . ." I'd love to hear that. They are the same version, and personally, I like the Slow Brew CD better overall. I've played Lit From Within two or three times, and played Slow Brew .... a lot more times. :-) Wishing Kristy would come to NYC, /mel :D ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Aug 1999 09:46:32 -0700 From: "Mindy" Subject: Kristy Tees Hey! Justine was asking me about the t-shirt I got, so I figured in case anyone else cared... I pulled a scan from the front and you can find it at www.homestead.com/oriecat/files/kristy_t.gif It didn't scan too well, but I didn't feel like spending all day on it. Not today anyway... :) The middle box says HIWATT, that part didn't come through so good. I think that's the name on her amp, IIRC. Sorry if the scan takes a bit too long to load... I saw three different kinds of shirt, all in black- just a normal sized unisex tee, a little tank with like spaghetti straps, and a little baby doll type of tee, which has white ribbing around the neck and sleeve bottoms. That's the one I got, not that anyone cares... :) ~Mindy~ ICQ# 45280054 ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Aug 1999 19:24:13 -0400 From: suspiria@earthlink.net Subject: Re: Kristy Tees...and a PLEASE! ;) Mindy wrote: > > Hey! > > Justine was asking me about the t-shirt I got, so I figured in case anyone > else cared... > > I pulled a scan from the front and you can find it at > www.homestead.com/oriecat/files/kristy_t.gif Oooh that is just delicious! And I love that she (or whoever designed it) used the lovely Ogilvie font. It rocks! ;) I want one! Wahhhhhh! :P Okay, I would rather be able to actually *see* Kristy perform live! But goshdarnit, I live in Ohio and I doubt she'll be coming any time soon. *sniffle* So for us unfortunate ones, is there anyway that any of you fortunate ones could pick up some t-shirts for us unfortunate ones if we sent you $$$ and lots o' cyber-hugs??? Please! I know I cannot be the only one who is drooling after that shirt! - -- Joanna - -- "It's not knowledge.
