I've heard Kristy's new material first hand. She came down to LA to work on a separate project called "Balligomingo" which we're producing for the record label Sonic Images. This is were we'll get to hear the ethereal/angelic, sometimes demonic, vocals from her. (You should have heard her breath into the mic; who else can breathe melodies?) While she was here in LA, we set her up to play a few songs from the new Kristy Thirsk set at a club in LA. She did some amazing acoustic work. This is the music that is more Lillith Fair material. Check out her song called Sorry. Luckily for electronica & Thirsk fans, we should have dual outlets for her material and our electronic/ambient project coming late summer.
