Looks like the Rose Chronicles covered Neil Young's "Old Man" on a Neil tribute album called Borrowed Tunes. From what I gather, the release contains 2 CDs: 1. "Out of the Blue" and 2. "Into The Black" that were sold both together and separately. Can anyone confirm any of what I have just said? I need some new Kristy bad and this compilation looks tasty. Crash Vegas also has an excellent cover of "Pocahontas" on there. This reminds me, is that Madonna tribute out yet? bye, Chris. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 9 Feb 1999 18:35:49 -0500 From: "John Nogueira" Subject: Re: Neil Young cover >Hi John, hi everyone. I can confirm this. Thanks Mike. I had a feeling somebody out there had it. Guess what I'll be checking out next time I'm out looking at CDs? >This reminds me, is that Madonna tribute out yet? I've been waiting for this for both Kristy (doing "Justify My Love" -- hurt me baby!) and another personal fave -- Berlin! Here's the latest update I've got on this from a few days ago: [snip] Cleopatra will release "Virgin Voices," a tribute to Madonna, on April 13. Among the artists appearing on the collection are Bow Wow Wow's Annabella Lwin ("Like A Virgin"), Berlin ("Live To Tell") and Heaven 17 ("Holiday"). Is the list software capable of prefixing something like [VThorn] to list subjects? I've found this handy with other lists that I'm on when I access my account through a web mail portal with limited filtering e.g. HotMail. At home, I've got my filters set up so all Kristy mail goes to its own folder so it really isn't a big deal.
