In regards to the Enigma mailing list message... > This development (the break up of Fulber and Leeb) not only affects the project Delerium, but also Front Line > Assembly, which is another Leeb-Fulber venture. Not really. Many people do not realize that Delerium has released a number of albums in the past with a variety of labels, with only the last two being under the Nettwerk label. Also, the latest FLA album, "Flavour of the Weak", was put out without the backing of Nettwerk or the input of Fulber... > It is questionable, however, whether the Delerium format will be resumed. > They have extended their musical genre far beyond the ambient environment > and have expressed little desire to return to this, My source indicate otherwise. Besides, before Nettwerk, the "Delerium" project dabbled in extremely ambient electronic musical forms, most tracks of which being even more ambient than the female-vocalist-fronted Nettwerk "Delerium" the general public knows and loves. Leeb and Fulber are responsible for many "techno groups" (just check out http://www.delerium.com), and since "Delerium" remains one of the duo's originals, I find it hard to believe that it will be completely abandoned. omicron ____________________________________________________________ The supreme misfortune is when theory outstrips performance. - - Leonardo da Vinci ------------------------------ End of vicious-thorn-digest V2 #69 **********************************
