Thanks to those who have signed the guestbook and sent me mail saying how much they appreciate the site. For those of you who haven't visited yet but plan to, it will be back up in a couple of days with more information, a new look, and a better interface (I hope). While sifting through the vicious-thorn archive the other day, I realized that I'd neglected to post information about myself to the group when I first joined, so I'll remedy that now: I live in the Lower Mainland of Brisish Columbia, Canada (Vancouver area) where I work professionally as an artist. I have been following Kristy's work since the days of Shiver, and now try to catch her live shows whenever I can. As for the types of music I listen to, it varies - especially as of late. I enjoy female artists (Tara Maclean, Loreena McKennit), industrial bands (Frontline Assembly, Pop Will Eat Itself, Prick), and local indie rock (Damn the Diva, Nickleback, DDT). Lastly, and really need help with this one, could anyone out there please tell me anything about Kristy's cover of Blondie's "Heart of Glass"? I found an obscure reference to it in a Nettwerk newsletter online indicating that it appeared on a Mystery Machine release. Is this true and if so, which album? Thanks so much! omicron ------------------------------ End of vicious-thorn-digest V2 #47 **********************************
