I have no idea what's going on, but I think (and of course really, really hope) Kristy will continue to write music. There is an interview on one of the Decadence discs and in it Kristy says, "once you get into it, you have to keep doing it. . .it's not really a choice. . .I think it goes for all of us, we couldn't really think of doing anything else now." To which Richard replies, "we're not going to sell our souls to work 9:00 to 5:00." That's good to hear isn't it? And that was only three years ago I think. So I bet Kristy is just writing or something (apparently she takes a long time) and I wouldn't be at all surpised if Richard, Judd or Steve have started other projects as well. Anyways, hopefully someday soon we'll get an e-mail with GREAT NEWS! as the subject and there'll be a new album. Bye. You would figure Nettwerk would market them a little more after they won the JUNO, but I sure never heard of them. Of course, they may be the simple fact that I'm in the States. I digress... > Also, if she is gone from Nettwerk, does this mean she won't be > contributing songs and vocals to future Delerium releases? Nettwerk almost has a corner on the market on female singers with wonderful voices. I think it initally helped that RC was on the same label. That allowed Bill and Rhys a much easier opportunity to realize that Kristy indeed has the most 'Angelic' voice. I believe if Delerium wants Kristy to sing on their next album, then they'll ask her and not need Nettwerk's permission. Wow...I've rambled.
