I'm just a little ignorant engineering student who doesn't know how to spell :) Thanks to you and Cynthia who corrected me. Indeed, Delerium credited her with the "Angelic voice" on their 'Semantic Spaces' album. I only have "Shiver" and "Happy Ever After", and I got HEA first. I don't really care for "Shiver" all that much. The video for "Awaiting Eternity" on the HEA multimedia section just made me giggle. Cherubim are mostly fat little kids, like you will always see in romanesque paintings. If you know that abhorrent Microsoft commercial where the guy puts the girls head on an angel, that is a cherubim. The seraphim are more wrathful. That was a funny category, "rank". I was watching with my roommate and he kept trying to put me as the question to each answer, I guess because he thinks I smell. I guess this has nothing to do with the Rose Chronicles. I have not had too much luck finding the Awaiting Eternity single because I live in North Carolina. I in fact had to mail order Happily Ever After. Pretty lame, eh? Anyway, I am curious about this Karma Limited edition thing mentioned above, as I have never heard of it. Please >tell me what it is. this is an "enhanced cd" similar to "hea" and sarah mclaughlan's "surfacing". lots of extra goodies and videos and such. although the delerium enhanced cd is almost impossible to find. you cant even get it through nettwerk. (btw if anyone ever sees an extra one please buy it...i would gladly pay through the nose to get it. within reason) now that everyone seems to be writing up a storm i was curious to other groups people are listening to...those "interesting rare finds" that youve encountered. i usually buy 3-5 new cds a week and the pickings are getting a little slim for me now. im looking for some other stuff along the lines of RC, curve, bel canto, etc.(not necessarily just female vocals, you know that mix of great lyrics, incredible vocals, along with some originality) im even willing to be bombarded by some mpeg3s if youre willing to send them to me. i will bombard in return. (such a martyr for my music.) cyn cynstres@nwlink.com cynstress@hotmail.com ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 4 Sep 1997 17:25:36 -0500 (CDT) From: "Lawrence J. "Karma" is the latest album from the band Delerium. It's their second record with Nettwerk Records. The first album, "Semantic Spaces" employed Kristy as vocals on two of their songs. On "Karma", Delerium had the fortunate opportunity to employ other Nettwerk artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Camille Henderson (Sarah's backup singer), Jacqui Hunt (of Single Gun Theory), and, of course, Kristy. When "Karma" was first released, it came in a limited edition 2CD set. The second CD contained two 'b-side' tracks (one of which has a beautiful song sung by Kristy) and additional multimedia goodies (videos of two Delerium songs). Nettwerk said that they sold-out of these 2CD albums and now are selling the first CD and second CD separately. If you look hard enough, you can still probably find copies of the 2CD album. Anyone's thoughts on Kristy's songs on the album?? Cheers, Lawrence ------------------------------ End of vicious-thorn-digest V1 #49 **********************************
