And have become the cult leader of the R.C. cult here... ok not a cult but it isn't too hard to get people hooked. Well, I hate to be the one to break the news to those of you who don't know, but brooke up (Kristy n' Richard) Febuaryish '96 over creative differences. Richard is off looking and jaming with other bands and Kristy is in a new one called "Seraphim" or something. Hmmmm. Nettwerk knows little about either because the two aren't with the company any longer. The Decadence Set is a sampler of ten years of Nettwerk with stuff from 1984 to '95. Of all the live songs R.C. has played it had to be the end of "Brick & Glue" whew Kristy's voice is just not the same without all the studio special effects. But hey I like the demo version even more than the album version of "Heaven Tide." The "Kissed" soundtrack has been out since May 6th but the darn music stores in Senior Capital of Ontario (is this "flamming?) haven't heard of the darn thing. You can order from Nettwerk for 16$ (+ 5$ for shippin' n' handlin') Another little nice song by Kristy Thirsk is "Songbird" with the guitarist from Mystery Machine and you can find that on nettwerk's "Slowbrew" or "Lit from within" My apologies for not stopping writting here. -LiEf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 24 May 1997 19:49:47 -0700 From: punk Subject: Re: lots of nifty R.C. stuff (fwd) hi there. I think that the concert footage of Rose Chronicles on the Decadence box set was a tad too short. It seemed like there was only 15 seconds of it.(concert footage). I think that Kristy Thirsk has one of the most incredible voices. I was just wondering about the new Delirium album. I heard that Kristy Thirsk does some vocals on it, and I was wondering if it's worth picking up. (i.e. how many tracks does she sing on? How are those tracks?) I'd really appreciate any info..thanks a bunch. :) Soo <'}}}>< ------------------------------ End of vicious-thorn-digest V1 #30 **********************************
