INTRODUCTION This list was started to bring Rose Chronicles fans together to share information about this wonderful band. 2. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION The mailing list being served by the automated mailing list manager Majordomo. This is an unmoderated discussion list, currently available as loose mail or in digest form and is limited to subscribers only. *QUERIES* about this mailing list (e.g. how to subscribe, unsubscribe, change mailing addresses, or find out who is on this list) can be sent to majordomo@smoe.org with "help" as the body of the message. *TO SUBSCRIBE* to the list, just send a message to vicious-thorn-request@smoe.org with "subscribe" as the body of the message. Then Majordomo will then add you to the list at whatever account you mailed it from. A digest version is available. LIST PURPOSE AND GENERAL RULES Vicious Thorn is not a newsletter or a fanzine! The purpose of the list is to disseminate information about Rose Chronicles, Kristy Thirsk, their music, concerts, live appearances, TV/radio gigs, press/articles/etc. Or if you're trying to find someone with tickets to a particular show, or someone who taped something, use it for that as well. We need your posts to keep this mailing list going!!! Please try to follow basic netiquette: 1) Try to limit posting subjects to Rose Chronicles, related information (their music, the band members, concerts, etc.) and music-related posts only. Tangents from these subjects are fine, but only occasionally, as some people do not like reading lots of posts not related to Rose Chronicles. 2) Please use common sense to determine whether the postee or the whole group needs to read the reply. Also try to use only the important parts of the post when replying--i.e. the postee's signature should never be included. 3) No flaming, excessive use of profanity, bigotry, or other violations of other people's basic human rights. You have an opinion. So does everyone else. Sometimes these opinions do not jive. That happens. But that does not give you an excuse to flame someone and personally insult them. 4) Never, ever send chain e-mails. If you get a "virus warning" or "Please help a dying child" e-mail that says to send to as many people as possible, it is a hoax. Once again, please be courtesy to list and follow the guidelines. If the situation warrants, more guidelines may have to be added in the future (but let's hope not). 4.
