Later on this CD now makes me think of a honey biscuit covered with a layer of whipped cream and a layer of purple coloured icing with the flavour of black currant, the colour of the purple tends to vary become deeper and then paler, the flavouring can turn to something softer and less identifiable, on the verge of bread, and the texture however is very very velvety, I think that's my synaesthiac reaction for today. Despite my earlier comment about the unforgiving attitude in the album, when you get in beneath the surface, Anja is sitting there on a little purple cushion, as a saint who's out there to forgive others in the album. I'm getting some great Debussy styled vibes out of it The Wmmvrrvrrmm Place ! http://members.aol.com/wmvrrvrrmm The art and writings of myself, Dominic (wmmvrrvrrmm) Kulcsar The Velvet Belly Page http://www.geocities.com/velvet_belly_uk My unofficial fansite dedicated to the Norwegian band Velvet Belly ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Apr 2001 10:22:52 -0400 From: "Rene Moncayo" Subject: Fw: [VS] Anja Garbarek you forgot the cuban musings on it. I liked Mark Hollis' piano playing and his crooning.
