Yngve earlier mentioned Cane-Unable and Kari Rueslatten, any other CD4s to look out for? I'll also look after CD4s with Bertine Zetlitz, Anja Garbarek and the two first albums with Velvet Belly (are they good?). I've downloaded some songs from Napster with Bertine Zetlitz, Anja Garbarek and Kari Rueslatten, and it all sounds good! I'll be going to the concert with Bel Canto at Rockefeller, I've never seen them live before, so it'll be special for me. /Stefan ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2001 10:41:41 -0400 From: "Rene Moncayo" Subject: Re: [VS] Norwegian music there's new anja material at http://www.eden.co.uk, the new vid is called stay tunes and the record's called smiling and waving with Mark hollis,JBK and Robert Wyatt as guests. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2001 23:59:29 +0200 (CEST) From: Yngve Hauge Subject: Re: [VS] Norwegian music On Tue, 27 Mar 2001, Stefan Granbom wrote: > Hi, > > I'm going to Oslo on Thursday, and i'd like have some recommendations of > CD4s with Norwegian artists. The new Anja Garbarek is hard to get by, and the same has to be said about the first Kari Ruesletten (Spindelsinn). Cane is kinda harder to find, but I'm sure you'll find a used copy. I'm not going to be in Oslo, but Elin is so she could tell you where to look. I'll think of some other artists to get too when you are about it - Weld perhaps? They are no more, but the albums should still be available and Vibeke Saugestad got a new album out that is supposed to be good - haven't heard it yet. She got a lovely voice though. That's what I can get out of my head right now ... - -- Yngve Ecto Guide to Good Music - the best source for great music http://www.smoe.org/ectoguide ------------------------------ End of velvet-station-digest V4 #7 **********************************
