I hate being wrong you see about something like this because it my be fault of my own human thinking. I found a magazine called Dutch, it's issue 30, it's still out in the shops. I sometimes get Dutch because there are some interesting things in it, but there's a photo of a woman that I can't help noticing who looks a like Anne-Marie Almedal sitting in a van and then she doesn't like her at all. She has similar hair, and similar features, but no characteristic expressions and since the flash is so intense, the features are somewhat bleached out along with the eyebrows. Sometimes it looks nothing like her depending on the light. I've superimposed photos of Anne-Marie over this woman's using Photoshop, and often the features seem to fit on some photos. The eye shapes and the nose seem so similar. The girl has her chin tucked in because of the pose, pushing fat from beneath her jaw out hiding the shape of the jaw a little and her cheekbones are hidden by her hair. Anne-Marie looks different in so many different ways in photos so I'm having a bitterly confusing time. Does anyone pick up Dutch by any chance. A friend of mine who's a Born Again Christian nutter who I think navigate through existence via a curious form synesthesia, who's seen Anne-Marie play live and claims that he can't forget her face, doesn't think it's her because her eyes are not intense enough but the hairstyle's right and to him the woman in the photo looks more Italian, and then my Desk Top Publishing instructor whos a Buddhist nutter and a photographer whos only seen photos of her thinks it must be her. So I can't say anymore. The woman is supposedly named Amy, and she's in a series of photos called Van People taken by Melodie McDaniel. If you judge a magazine by it's cover, I'll tell you now that there is only some nudity in the magazine. It's a fashion art magazine. Maybe it seems that whether they really look like her or not, maybe the Anne-Marie clones are going to haunt me for ever - aaaaah! I'll happily put the photo up on the internet shortly, because I plan to scan it today Monday. Maybe I'll start an Anne-Marie Almedal clone section Dominic The Wmmvrrvrrmm Place ! http://members.aol.com/wmvrrvrrmm The art and writings of myself, Dominic (wmmvrrvrrmm) Kulcsar The Velvet Belly Page http://www.geocities.com/velvet_belly_uk My unofficial fansite dedicated to the Norwegian band Velvet Belly ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Dec 2000 20:37:34 EST From: Wmvrrvrrmm@aol.com Subject: [VS] Re: Amy the Van girl In a message dated 11/12/2000 00:44:42, writes: << because I plan to scan it today Monday >> the last scan was mucked up because saved and closed it with the face from another photo, which isn't going to help anyone The Wmmvrrvrrmm Place ! http://members.aol.com/wmvrrvrrmm The art and writings of myself, Dominic (wmmvrrvrrmm) Kulcsar The Velvet Belly Page http://www.geocities.com/velvet_belly_uk My unofficial fansite dedicated to the Norwegian band Velvet Belly ------------------------------ End of velvet-station-digest V3 #56 ***********************************
