Well, I just went out and bought Spirit of Eden since it's one of the two
favourite albums of Velvet Belly's mentioned last year in a magazine along
with Jeff Buckley's Grace. I didn't think that Mark Hollis was who I thought
he was after seeing some of the earlier album covers, thank god the group
changed their hairstyles. I liked that song "Life is what you make it" when
it was released, I don't know which album its on though. He has another one
of those ethereal haunting voices, maybe as if he's been stuck out in some
timeless place watching countless seasons rolling by, there's a mythic
resonance....I'm having a small high...
