Plays indie-pop, and i don't like them that much, at least not much enough to buy their records. I think their sound and image is maybe a bit too neat. I bought the new album with Mine the other day, i don't think it's as good as their first album, but worth listen to. I liked one song in particular, think the name of the song was 'in and out love', no. 5. /Stefan ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Nov 2000 15:09:22 +0100 (CET) From: Yngve Hauge Subject: [VS] Just an idea Hi you all, I've been thinking about a project for some time now, and it is about time to try get things rolling. The idea is as follows : Organize charity festivals like Ectofest (www.ecto.org) in Oslo and suitable places in the other scandinavian countries. What I would like to do is to invite Happy Rhodes over from the US, put together a suitable band for her, and then send her and the band on tour to the different above mentioned places. In each place local bands will be asked if they would like to join the festival to support a good cause (Amnesty International sound slike a good one for me ... but that can be discussed). The bands/artists will of course get all expenses covered. ohhh, to make this an Ecto event - the artists/bands should be ecto ... There are enough to choose from though ... What time? I thought of some time in last half of July next year. - -- Yngve ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 8 Nov 2000 18:15:11 +0100 (CET) From: Yngve Hauge Subject: [VS] Aol (6.0) notice Hi, The new version of aol (ver 6.0) doesn't have a setting for plain-text email, so in case you are on aol and it takes a little longer for the email to get to the list that's why.
