Subject: [VS] Velvet Belly tracks available on Napster!........
I've just joined Napster today to take a look. I wonder how Velvet Belly are
supposed to make a living if people are going to just download their albums
from Napster. I've found out that the contents (I think) of Windowtree and
Lucia are downloadable. I can download the Passing Thing song too, which
maybe is of course no longer commercially available.
Then it seems that the company who own BMG are about to make an alliance
Napster and BMG are going to open up it's music catalogues to Napster. I
wonder if Velvet Belly can make a career out of the world of MP3. It would so
easy to point someone across to the music in the internet world that way. I
guess this is a just a short moment of confusion, I'll get over it, I just
don't know much about the MP3 world at present.
I sure loved Passing Thing though, it seemed to be wonderfully uncomplicated.
I'm just going to listen to it ten or fifteen thousand times, and sympathise
with its feeling.
