I can't seem to find it on the website at least, so I guess we'll have to wait for it or request that VG get it on there. It is sad that they manage to add the Björk article twice and then forget to add the VB interview *sighs loudly* - -- Yngve ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 15 Feb 2000 14:06:56 EST From: Wmvrrvrrmm@aol.com Subject: Re: [VS] VB interview in VG In a message dated 15/2/00 5:06:00 pm, elin@rmta.org writes: >If anybody would like to know how it loooked like in the paper, I'll >scan it and e-mail it to whomever wants it. :) I've been having a traumatic time not being able to find it. I would appreciate it if you could send me a scan of the cutting even though I can't consciously read Norwegian. I think we're going to need an up to date Fan webpage with all the cuttings and interviews put up. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 15 Feb 2000 20:09:13 +0100 (CET) From: Yngve Hauge Subject: [VS] What's up with Tine? Anyone knows what's up on that front, and > if she has got a new address or anything? Yes, I know. :) She hasn't been using that telia address since she moved to Texas in June last year... While in the US, she got a new address, which she is still using: tine0@usa.net. And for those who are wondering, she has been back in Norway for quite some while. Well, as a matter of fact, I did make a webpage like that once. The URL for it is http://listen.to/velvetbelly It has not been updated for a looong time, or rather, not updated at all - I just created it, but then I had no time for it, and forgot all about it. And it contains Javascript code that doesn't work in Internet Explorer :-( But, things could change... If anyone thinks it would be nice to have a web page like that, I could fix it so it becomes up to date, or even better; maybe someone could give me a hand on it... ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2000 00:52:30 +0100 (CET) From: Yngve Hauge Subject: Re: [VS] VB interview in VG On Wed, 16 Feb 2000, Daniel Buchmann wrote: > Well, as a matter of fact, I did make a webpage like that once. It is just plain stupid IMHO. > But, things could change... > If anyone thinks it would be nice to have a web page like that, I could > fix it so it becomes up to date, or even better; maybe someone could > give me a hand on it... It would be nice with some sort of an interactive thing where you could upload new stuff without someone needing to do much to maintain the site without adding new features that is. - -- Yngve ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 15 Feb 2000 19:23:55 EST From: Wmvrrvrrmm@aol.com Subject: Fwd: [VS] VB interview in VG - --part1_6e.cccc2c.25db481b_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit In a message dated 15/2/00 11:39:45 pm, danielb@tihlde.org writes: >But, things could change... >If anyone thinks it would be nice to have a web page like that, I could >fix it so it becomes up to date, or even better; maybe someone could >give me a hand on it... > Well, I'm glad that you recollect that you do have a fan page! I'd love to give a hand in building a webpage. Has anyone else started one to collate the information on this list, there were some words exchanged a short while back, but nothing more was said. Something I would have in mind would look a little ambient. I'd like to find an image of the colours of the velvet belly shark when it's glowing and maybe have a background colour scheme based on this if that works. The basic typeface that you used for your webpage title was interesting , do you know what it was? I guess we'd have to think about the best thing whatever that might be. I'd have to start transcribing or wordscanning the Dazed and Confused article from last year, it was a good article. I've already made scans of the photographs the other week just so that I could be obsessed on another level. I'd then wonder if it was possible to translate the Norwegian articles popping up in Norwegian, because the future of Velvet Belly ideally will be a little more global and the Japanese are going to have as hard a time as a lot of the English in translating the texts. So all these things have to be understood and dealt with, in our desire to make a webpage function well. And maybe it should be understood that I have a deep rooted obsession about collating certain kinds of information, and maybe I'd like the webpage to cater for the kind of human that I represent, amongst others, which I don't think is going to cause a problem. So Daniel, what are your ideas about a webpage from your point of view. - --part1_6e.cccc2c.25db481b_boundary Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Disposition: inline Return-Path: Received: from rly-yb01.mx.aol.com (rly-yb01.mail.aol.com [172.18.146.1]) by air-yb04.mail.aol.com (v67_b1.24) with ESMTP; Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:39:44 -0500 Received: from chmls05.mediaone.net (ne.mediaone.net [24.128.1.70]) by rly-yb01.mx.aol.com (v67_b1.24) with ESMTP; Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:39:36 -0500 Received: from smoe.org (jane.smoe.org [24.30.216.55]) by chmls05.mediaone.net (8.8.7/8.8.7) with ESMTP id SAA06322; Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:38:51 -0500 (EST) Received: from localhost (daemon@localhost) by smoe.org (8.8.7/8.8.7/listq-jane) with SMTP id SAA07458; Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:37:40 -0500 (EST) Received: by smoe.org (bulk_mailer v1.10); Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:37:40 -0500 Received: (from majordom@localhost) by smoe.org (8.8.7/8.8.7/listq-jane) id SAA07442 for velvet-station-outgoing; Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:37:29 -0500 (EST) Received: from colargol.tihlde.org (qmailr@colargol.tihlde.hist.no [158.38.48.10]) by smoe.org (8.8.7/8.8.7/daemon-mode-jane) with SMTP id SAA07436 for ; Tue, 15 Feb 2000 18:37:26 -0500 (EST) Received: (qmail 16426 invoked by uid 1139); 15 Feb 2000 23:37:14 -0000 Date: Wed, 16 Feb 2000 00:37:14 +0100 (CET) From: Daniel Buchmann X-Sender: danielb@colargol.tihlde.hist.no To: Velvet Station Subject: Re: [VS] VB interview in VG In-Reply-To: <50.19f97fa.25dafdd0@aol.com> Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-velvet-station@smoe.org Precedence: bulk Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit On Tue, 15 Feb 2000 Wmvrrvrrmm@aol.com wrote: > I think we're going to need an up to date Fan webpage with all the cuttings > and interviews put up.
