For those of you who went to the Velvet Belly gig on Wednesday in Oslo, a big thankyou. I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves - tell us more! (Tine, have you recovered from your birthday yet???) There were actually 3 very important people in the audience (as well as yourselves)....3 guys from England.....who work for a record company.......and they were sooooooooooooooooo impressed with Velvet Belly (and their Norwegian hospitality) on Wednesday, that they want to release their music in the UK! Official! Word on the street is that "Easy" is going to be released on 10th May in the UK and probably in other countries around Europe too. (I don't know about in the U.S. and other continents, but now anything is possible) So, Christian, in answer to your question, it might be a little while before Velvet Belly release another album in Norway, but be patient whilst the rest of the world catches up - They're a band worth waiting for, don't you think? - Philippa > -----Original Message----- > From: Christian Aamodt [SMTP:christian.aamodt@innocent.com] > Sent: 25 February 1999 09:06 > To: Velvet Station > Subject: [VS] Report from John Dee... > > I have heard 4 new songs alltogether since May, which I > hope will all be on the next album... they all sound very > promising.
