Has it been sent now to Kai (Jarre - V.B.'s manager) or Tine to hand over to the band? * Daniel - how's the web page coming along? * Elin (and all other students) - how did the exams go???? Eek! * Tine - I think I must be jinxed - something happened to the film in my camera when I went around Vigelands Park, so half my photos from there + Velvet Belly's Oslo gig didn't come out (including the ones I took of you, although part of your face is showing on one of the negatives) :s Anyway - listen up - I have a question for you all - have you seen the home page on the internet for a band called Belle & Sebastian? Me neither - not yet, anyway, but maybe we should have a look to see what they've got on there. As well as an internet chat room, there have been social events too (advertised on their web page) - in the summer they had a couple of picnics on Primrose Hill (near Camden), in autumn/winter they have had socials once a month with other bands doing acoustic set at the Poetry Cafe near Covent Garden (including Poor Rich Ones!), and now several fans are travelling up to Glasgow (where Belle & Sebastian are from) to celebrate Hogmanay (Scottish new year) with the band. Norway is a bigger country than Great Britain (and not all of us are in Norway anyway), but maybe this gives you a few ideas for get-togethers we could have in '99 (does anyone know yet which month Velvet Belly will be celebrating their 10th year together?) In the meantime, I would like to wish you all... MERRY CHRISTMAS <<...>> AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR GOD JUL OG GODT NYTT AR ....and cross your fingers that Velvet Belly will finally be released in the UK (and elsewhere) in 99!!!! - London greetings - Philippa ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 Dec 1998 23:17:21 +0100 (MET) From: =?ISO-8859-1?Q?Ms_Elin_Gyda_Sj=F8lie_=28Dreaming_Girl=29?= Subject: Re: [VS] glogg glogg glogg On Mon, 21 Dec 1998 Philippa.Demonte@bmg.co.uk wrote: >* Elin (and all other students) - how did the exams go????
