Hello again Velvet Bellies! I thought I ought to share some information with you concerning VB/Biosphere's show in Oslo yesterday. If anyone is going to any of their shows later this week, and want a surprise, please do not read the rest of this e-mail... The show took place at Mars, a rock club with capasity for about 1000 (wild guess) in the centre of Oslo. I had never been to the place before, and it was a nice surprise... a good, tight athmosphere. The place was all dark from the doors opened, and they were playing very some strange sort of ambient music at a low volume. At about 22:30 they came on stage, and they played the following songs (from the setlist, I don't think they changed anything on the way): Antenneria (B) - Only Biosphere and Anne Marie on stage, with lyrics made especially for these shows. The Key (VB) - Biosphere's version, with full band. Cloudwalker II (B) - Full band, Velvet Belly version. Wide Open Spaces (VB) - No Biosphere, but a very spiced-up version (no spice girls connection :-) He's Packing (VB) - No Biosphere. Undertow (VB) - ---"--- Drift (VB) - ---"--- Soon (VB) - With Biosphere. A new song, which makes me look forward to their next album... Our Happiness (VB) - Only Anne Marie and Biosphere. The Things I Tell You #2 (B) - Only Biosphere. The Marriage Between Algae and Fungi #1 - ---"--- The Marriage Between Algae and Fungi #2 - ---"--- Close To Embrace (VB) - Everybody on stage. Another new brilliant song. Trick (VB) - No Biosphere. Easy (VB) - ---"--- Oystercatcher (VB) - Truly brilliant version! Microgravity (B) - Everybody on stage - --- Chucking (B) - ---"--- Tip Toe (VB) - ---"---, a strange, but really cool version... As you can see, a brilliant night for anyone who likes Velvet Belly's music... BTW Yesterday I forgot to mention a link to a review on last week's show in Bergen: http:\\www.panorama.no Well, so much for my plans of being a "list spy"...
