Subject: randomness I'm writing from lovely Ottawa -- my new home. Everyone has lives, it seems - -- including myself (oh my...university is insane, but I love it). I listened to _Silver_ in its entirety for the first time since I received it in late August; "Bedlam" and "The Heart" are very striking to me. (In fact, I've got the lyrics to "Bedlam" taped up beside my computer so I can remember, "If you do nothing / it means nothing / and all those wild, wild feelings / go to waste.") _Silver_ and _Auditorium_ (which is also lovely) only make me anticipate her live show even more. I was afraid she would stop only in Toronto and Montreal, but she's playing in Ottawa as well... and apparently I was the fourth person to purchase a ticket (ha!), with much glee and random dancing, not to mention strange looks in my direction. Anyone else going? In other news... I was looking up Veda on Google, and I found a link to the official website for the film festival Crazy8s -- I remember someone mentioning that she directed a film for an independent project. You can watch a clip of _Happyland_ -- I can only hope that there will be a video/DVD release of this (and perhaps her other videos?) at a later date. I suppose I should get back to procrastinating.
