If it's just two people, I'm sure we can satisfy them. If it's dozens, we could see if Veda cares if we tree it on the list. My suspicion is that Veda really doesn't care what we do with that tape, and won't be doing anything with it herself. She seems pretty dismissive of it. I also think it would be nice if some money fed back to her if we did that, but I also suspect she'd just shrug that off. Perhaps people getting copies could send an extra $5 when they buy Auditorium? Amusingly enough, I was actually listening to this when I got the e-mail yesterday. I have it burnt to CD-R. > She also played one of the songs later in the show. Perhaps Neal or Neile > remembers which one? She played 538 E Georgia. BTW, I can see why Veda might be dismissive of the tape. It doesn't have the bredth and richness of her later work. But it's in no way embaressing. It has some great songs on it, and some that she has revived at various times for wonderful live versions. neal np: little steps - merrie amsterburg ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Jul 2002 12:25:03 -0700 From: "Sarah Mitenko" Subject: tapes from people in buildings >>Just curious... is there a lot of interest in the tape out there?
