Oh wow. I *knew* I should've gone to Vancouver this weekend! This sounds like a wonderful and amazing event. I too look forward to a full setlist from each show. I also heard from someone else who was there that the live album could be out as soon as July?? Is that true? I can't wait to hear even a portion of these shows. Wow. What kind of a band did she have? Who was playing with her? ============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth ============================================== Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ============================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 May 2002 23:04:17 -0700 From: James Gurley Subject: Re: a vague review of the May 25th show From someone who was there on both nights... Veda had her usual band, plus three horn players. And no one made barnyard animal noises on the first night show; people were just a little too enthusiastic in their bird calls. Veda played basically the same show both nights, with some rearranging in set order. The vocals were mixed up higher on night two and generally the instrument mix was better as well. That said, both nights were incredible. And those horns!
