I attended the House O'Muzak concert, and during the Q&A period, I was urgently needed in the restroom. My companion heard some of the talk that I missed, and alluded to Veda mentioning a forthcoming band album, possibly by this fall. Anyone know more about this? I returned from the aforementioned duties to rejoin said companion talking to Veda, commiserating about the trials and tribulations of suddenly becoming a stepmother. My friend explained that she lived in upstate New York, and Veda asked that she consider places for her to play in that area, since she wants to book into more places in the near future. Info to be mailed to the address at her website. Of course, she is looking especially for places sympathetic to her very individual style of music. I have heard that the working visa conditions for Canadians working in the US is less favorable than it used to be, so this surprised me a little, although the fact that once here in the lower 48, she must make the best of it, that's always been the case, perhaps now more than ever. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else heard anything about another imminent new album, and also to prod any New York Staters (or thereabouts) to think about yer local venues, and pass on any relevant info. Allow me to take a moment here to congratulate Meth & Woj for hosting the U.S. premiere of the full multimedia presentation of Field Study. This qualifies as treasured memory of a lifetime material here, kids. No small feat. ------------------------------ End of trajectory-digest V5 #39 *******************************
