Still in a state of shock that it was FREE. This was my first ever opportunity to see Veda live. She surpassed an already unfeasibly high expectation. Her set was a mixture of tracks off the newest LP and some older classics. Especially brilliant was an encore with veda, kinnie starr and oh susanna all doing Bellyfish together! Did i mention there was free beer? Did i mention the chandeliers? Also got to buy some CD's that you just can't get over here. And wow, Veda remembered me from e-mails, and the web chat before xmas. She said she was hopeful of coming back here later in the year. Should also mention Oh Susanna and Kinnie Starr. They were SO good. Kinnie's energy surpasses that of Ani di franco, and that's saying something in my (small and insignificant) book. a very happy chappy who got his fix..... ~Richard ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.ecofem.org ------------------------------ End of trajectory-digest V4 #16 *******************************
