They weren't up a week ago - the last time I checked. Too bad, in a way. I was enjoying the lyrics discussion. Oh well, we can still talk about intended meaning. At a Vancouver show I was at, Veda called Ponyride the most straight forward pop song she'd ever written so I'm inclined to go with the simple happy love song take. Like all of the pictures that pop up at random? That's awesome... I'm still clicking the links over and over to get more pictures of Veda. Mmm... but anyhow um I'm rambling so I'll stop. Hi! Thanks, Doug, for posting the info on the updated site! I think it's *just* been updated, as I have NetMind watching Veda's pages and I haven't gotten a notification yet. It's certainly been within the past couple days at the most. I love all the pictures. Can anyone with a larger screen than my poor laptop's confirm whether those really are reptiles in the shot on the main page? >meth, was that at your house? or was that at the "house concert" at the >metro cafe (where there were exactly two paying attendees for veda >hille's set) ? That was at my house - as far as I know she performed the song for the first time in front of people here. (Even her manager Emily hadn't heard it yet!) Interesting seeing the lyrics again. "All Fur" isn't as disturbing to read the second time around, but it's still an odd little ditty. It also amuses me that the lyrics for "Killzone!" are mostly in caps. :) +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ End of trajectory-digest V3 #113 ********************************
