So while it very well may be the perspective of the song/song narrator, i find it diificult to beleive that Veda would take on such a sterotypical view of people and their slots in life and how they interact given that, seeing all the other stuff she has written in the past and recently. I am really curious what pony bride is supposed to mean though.... PS and just for the record.....i am about the only artist i know who doesnt listen to the radio on a regualr basis. take care.... nicole ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Nov 1999 20:24:41 -0500 From: "rachel stone" Subject: Re: are we still here >>> Actually, I think she's saying-- >>> there's nothing wrong with feeling good >>> inane inane inane inane inane > >I assumed it was "innate innate innate innate innate" which has the >advantage of both rhyming with "great" and adding depth to the lyrics. I always thought that since it was from the song "ponybride," it was the sound a horse might make..."nay." Amazing how people hear differen't things...
