Good to see you still have that good ol' sense o'humor. ;> Seriously, though, I hope opening for Alanis opens some doors for Veda ... now if she could only get the opening gig elsewhere, like in the U.S.! There's been a few more updates to the tour dates. That info, as well as the directions Amy posted to the Trinity gig are on the news page. +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 Feb 1999 20:05:35 -0600 (CST) From: vinokur Subject: Re: veda and....alanis? Alanis is a Veda fan? If you look carefully at the statement, it does not necessarily mean that she likes Veda, but rather that she loves the fact that she picked the opening acts herself. Just because she's familiar with Veda doesn't mean she likes her. I mean, I'm familiar with Ace of Base but I don't...no, that's a lie, I do like them. WhatEVER. > My entire worldview just shifted. I have no comment on that, but I wish I did because I...wanted to sound insightful. Rachel Who still doesn't have the Emily Carr album but wants it. Actually, I hear there was an article in the Vancouver Sun in which Alanis stated that she is a huge Veda fan, and really wants to work with her (!). I'm getting a copy of the article soon and I'll type it in if I have the time (or if anyone out there has this themselves and wants to chip in ... feel free). >Um...I was serious.
