Jim inquired: >Does anyone know if (1) the Knitting Factory has seats (my wife has a >bad back which prevents us from seeing standing-room shows) and (2) if >this is a full band show or just solo... It's a full band show. As for whether or not it has seats -- that depends on which performance space the show is in. If it's in the Tap Room or the Alterknit Theatre then there will be seats - if it's in the main space, it could or it couldn't. I've seen shows there with seats and without. The Knitting Factory's web site hasn't been updated with March's information yet, so I'm not sure exactly where she's going to be playing. My bet is on the main space, though. Patty, do you have that scoop? Jim (and anyone else whom I don't already know), if you do go to the Knitting Factory show, keep an eye out for me - I'll be wearing a Prodigy Internet jacket so I'll stick out from the crowd. :) +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Feb 1999 23:53:26 -0500 From: meredith Subject: Re: Knitting Factory Hi again, I got confirmation that Veda will be playing at the Old Office (what I erroneously referred to as the Tap Room earlier) all the way downstairs at the Knitting Factory. It's a really nice, intimate space, and there are definitely chairs galore. I saw her there solo with Kinnie Starr last year, and it was a really great place. Hope to see a lot of you there! +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ End of trajectory-digest V3 #21 *******************************
