To those who may be planning on going to the gig in Worcester, MA tomorrow night: When I called for directions today, the kid who answered my call said that the show is supposed to start at 7. All the information I've seen from Veda and Patty et al. has said 8. Since I'm not sure exactly which is right, I'm going to try to get there as early as I can. The kids at WPI apparently think this is a "coffeehouse" gig. I wonder if they know she's bringing her Very Nice Band? :) I hope there's room for everyone. In any event the venue is also a pizza place I guess, so that'll save time trying to find dinner beforehand, anyway. Also, the Mercury Lounge show on Thursday is set to begin at 11 pm. Do yourselves all a big favor and be sure to show up early to see Mila Drumke at 10. She's another of my very favorite live performers, and I can't tell you how happy I am to get to see both her and Veda on the same night. Mila's violin player, Lyris Hung is a goddess among us - it'd be cool if she and Veda hit it off and the two of them played together someday. Hope to see a bunch of you at the various gigs this week! +==========================================================================+ | Meredith Tarr meth@smoe.org | | New Haven, CT USA http://www.smoe.org/~meth | +==========================================================================+ | "things are more beautiful when they're obscure" -- veda hille | | *** TRAJECTORY, the Veda Hille mailing list: *** | | *** http://www.smoe.org/meth/trajectory.html *** | +==========================================================================+ ------------------------------ End of trajectory-digest V2 #115 ********************************
