This is a snippet on the Ken Bruce Show in which the guest selects two pieces of music from the soundtrack of his or her life and briefly explains the significance. Beth's choices today (sorry for the late notice but I didn't know she was on until I heard it) were Joni Mitchell's 'Blue' and the Talking Heads' 'Psycho Killer'. The former was something she used to listen to in her 'stinky flat' that she scared with scary blokes who would, in some cases, never emerge from their bedrooms, and in discussing the latter, she lamented the passing of the eccentric from popular music, saying that today, the aim of musicians was to accrue the maximum amount of cash by being as normal as possible. You can hear Tracks Of My Years online on R2's website at http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/ - Beth is on all this week, Tues to Fri, 11:45-ish AM BST (1045 GMT). It's a short programme, basically just two tracks and a two or three-minute snippet of interview. It's not archived, unfortunately, so you won't be able to hear today's programme.
