It was absolutely brilliant, I've never seen Beth enjoying herself so much on stage...it was so wonderful. And Terry Callier as well! The look in her eyes when they were singing together, you could see how much she appreciated him being there and how she was in awe of this guy who's made so many brilliant songs. I know that she really enjoys it when she gets to sing with someone special and that was definitely on of the times. I agree that the support were very impressive, I know categorising people isn't necessarily a good thing, but I'd say they were 1/3 lemonheads, 1/3 mansun and 1/3 charlatans. They actually said they were called just 'doves' but I think they can't decide on the 'The'. Peter p.s. I'm assuming TC was there on Friday...was he? p.p.s. Beth's also a pretty good dj. I'm not so sure it's wrong now, but I didn't take notes, so... Galaxy Pass in time Best bit So much more Stolen car Stars all seem to weep Love like laughter Sweetest decline She cries your name Devils song Thinking about tomorrow Whenever Someones daughter Central reservation Dolphins ....................... Feel to believe Blood red river Sunshine Touch me Terry Callier was apparently supposed to turn up for "Dolphins" ("I don't want to wind you up or anything"), but he'd hurt his back. There was also a final encore of "Sugar boy" ("but I don't know *why* you want it!"). Anyone know if this is right/wrong? Nick. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 01 Nov 1999 15:37:55 -0800 From: McManamania Subject: Re: Shepherd's bush setlist 29/10/99 We (the Saturday show) didn't get Sugar Boy, but we did get TC. He and Beth sung Pass in Time and Dolphins together and then at the very end did one of his songs, which I don't know the name of. Also, I very much liked low key backdrops. Especially the one for I wish i never saw the sunshine, it suited the song brilliantly. S.P.P.P. Nick Grundy wrote: > > Hi all, > > As promised, here's the setlist from the Friday night gig.
