They're called Fools Progress, and they ROCK. They're a lot like Jars of Clay meets Crowded House. Anyway, we knew *nothing* about them, so we went on the internet to find out more, and it turns out they used to be called Acoustic Junction and have supported Dave Matthews Band a few times. I'm curious to find out anymore about them, if anybody can help me. Thanks, - -Erica ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Aug 1999 10:45:31 EDT From: Starsai1@aol.com Subject: Chemical Bros track Peter wrote: And what about The Chemical Brothers "Exit Planet Dust" (1995) which also includes vocals by Beth Orton?? I had never heard about this one before. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Beth track on "Exit Planet Dust" is called "Alive Alone" and it's a great song. The whole album is good as well, I'd recommend it. I'm still going to try to be at the Chat today, although I'll be at work so there's no guarantee I can actually be online at that time. Hopefully I'll see some of you there! I saw you there, SallyCinnamon99/Chelsea. :-) Anyone else? I was there as baseballannie... Anyway, I loved Beth's "Flipper the dolphin" response. "Where do I begin" is a fantastic song, and Beth's vocals, sound better with the Chemical Brothers beats, than say, the remix of Central Reservation, which is track 12 on my copy of the CD. I sounds more like she is in tune with the music, as opposed to singing over techno. Speaking of The Chemical Brothers new track, my god, I am a hopeless Mazzy Star afficinado from way back, and it's the first I've heard of Hope Sandoval, and she sounds so beautiful. The fact too that she looks beautiful, hang on, anyone got her phone number? (just kidding). I caught this, and the new single from Spain, just as I was hopping into a very late shower on Sunday night, and I had to jump out and turn the radio up, to believe what I was hearing. Well, that's enough of my naked Olympics for one day. To *occy*, yes I'm the Aussie you are looking for. My mates got Channel V, I'll keep you posted. cheers, k >From: "R.
